Tai Chi Classes : A Moving Meditation
We're thrilled to announce an 3 months program to offer Tai Chi classes and push hand, through Xin Ying Wuyi Pte Ltd. Tai Chi is “an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathinG. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.” (Source: Mayo Clinic.) Benefits of Tai Chi include improved strength, better balance, reduced stiffness and pain, enhanced sleep, and increased immunity. Classes for 3 month Period Classes will be taught by Sifu Jacky Chan Lai Wah, 62 yrs (陈礼华老师), is the direct disciple of Master Wong Choo Yam (黄祖荫), who acquired Wu Style Taijiquan and Push Hand from Grand Master Wu Kung Yee (吴公仪) and Grand Master Cheung Wing Kwong (郑荣光) respectively. He has in earlier years learn Traditional Wushu from Master Wei Yuan Feng (魏元峰), Founder and Head Coach of Chin Woo Association Singapore. Coach Chan was a medallist in National Wushu Competitions and has over 40 years of experience in both external and internal martial arts. He adopts a very practical and clear coaching method, demonstrating how strokes in Taiji routine can be used and applied in Push Hand. He is a well-respected Taijiquan teacher, currently teaching Wu-Style Taiji 108, Wu-Style Guan Chuan, Wu-Style Push Hand in Singapore and Guangzhou.No previous Tai Chi experience is needed. Note!
