About me?

Well, my name is Lee and we're free Taiji in the park community we specialises in the teaching of the traditional and rarer form of Wu style Taiji. healthy Wu Taiji symbolizes our noble aim of improving our overall quality of life and healthy.

What is Tai Chi ?

Tai Chi is a slow-motion, moving meditative exercise for relaxation, health and self-defense. Originally from China,  It's one of the world's most popular form of exercise. It's practices by both sexes and appeals to people of all ages. Wu taiji is a wonderful martial art. Besides being very effective for combat it is also excellent for health promotion and spiritual cultivation.

Is it a martial Art ?

Taijiquan is a complete martial art system base on these concept. however, nowadays people are more concern about the health benefits it brings but yes it can be used for self defense depending on your skills and abilities. Additionally, Wu style Tai Chi push hand hand been develop for this purpose to neutralizes an opponent.

In what way is Healthy Wu Taiji Healthy?

Today Taiji for health is the main concern. In Taiji, the body is trained softly and through quiet and slow movements a powerful meditative effect will be developed. Movement, which is yang, and stillness, which is yin, the harmony of the Yin and Yang improves the flow of energy through the body, leading to better wellness and has a wide range of potential health benefits. I had a student who is a golfer but he was not able to play golf due to illness. After 6 months of practicing he was able to play again. Taiji strengthen his immune system relaxes the body and this result in the overall improvement in health.

What does in take to learn Taiji ?

Nothing special. You will develop fitness quite naturally. As the Chinese saying goes, "The mind commands, the body moves and the Qi follows." Here we strive to improve your health, helps strengthen your immune system to prevent disease, promote healing, longevity and develops internal energy or Chi." e start very slowly but will increase training after some time. I trained twice a day and one can continue training until the day I died. 

What do you need for training ?

For the training you just need loose comfortable pants, flat rubber sole Kung Fu shoe and a change of tee-shirts and oh yah! you'll need to have a good teacher too.
